Laura Wilkinson
Dr. Kalina was born and raised in Saskatchewan, where he attended the University of Saskatchewan. In 1972 he moved to Toronto to study at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. He graduated from CMCC in 1976 and started his own practice later that year.
"As a chiropractor, I am blessed with the opportunity to help families in our community to express optimal health. Working with patients to remove the interferences that hinder them from achieving their healing potential is both a challenge and a reward - one I continue to look forward to each day, and have for close to 40 years. I would love to help everyone express their true health."
Dr. Kalina currently resides in Mississauga with his wife Judy. They just celebrated the marriage of their son Daniel, to Kourtney, in August of 2015.
Laura has been with the clinic for 7 1/2 years and is our Office Manager and Clinical Exam Technician. She will get you started with your initial consultation, exam and x-rays and continue to keep your health records in order with each visit to the doctor. She also manages all bookkeeping, payroll and accounting for the clinic, spearheads tasks as a vendor liason, an advertising coordinator...and oversees many of the day-to-day general administrative duties. Prior to this, Laura held administrative positions mainly in the advertising field, but she states, "My job here at the clinic is more fulfilling than any other I have had before. I love being able to help people and to play a part in their healing."
Laura lives in Mississauga and spends her spare time (if there is such a thing?!) with her partner Neil, and her 3 children who, along with her, also receive regular chiropractic care. "Gymnastics, hip hop, and those heavy school backpacks sure take a toll on their growing bodies. Chiropractic helps keep them adjusted for life."
